Marketing and Public Relations

Chair – Is responsible for Holding a quarterly meeting going over the efforts in each subcommittee.  They are responsible for summarizing the reports from each subcommittee and getting that report to the Secretary prior to that months board meeting.

Subcommittees 
 
Government Affairs – The Government Affairs subcommittee is responsible for monitoring and lobbying legislative activities that may impact the Bio Recovery industry.  They are to monitor, collaborate, and review new proposals and from other organizations or government agencies and canvas ABRA member opinion prior to the organization publicly taking a collective position on the subject.  This then gets handed to Public Relations to put out to market. 

Chair – Scott Vogel

 
Public Relations – Is responsible for handling positioning statements and or legal review of information being pumped into social media and or publications.  Best filled by individuals with a legal background.

Gordy Powell

Marketing –   Is responsible for development of content on the website, news items and staffing member ambassadors to reciprocating trade conferences and is focused on bringing the ABRA brand to market.  The marketing committee is to drive ABRA membership, both Active membership and Associate membership.  Assisting the Education Committee in pushing the meaning behind the third party certification and training to vertical markets  Putting out the monthly internal newsletter to the membership with a once a month member highlight.  They are also to assist the conference committee with marketing the conference opportunities to Associate Members and Vendors.
