Peter J. Guerin earns ABRA - Certifed Bio Recovery Master

Peter J. Guerin of BioClean Australia earns CBRM

The CBRM (Certified Bio Recovery Master) is the American Bio Recovery Association's highest level of Certification.   To earn the CBRM designation, the candidate must demonstrate a high level of diversified knowledge in Bio Recovery, Infection Control, Hazardous Materials Response and Risk Assessment.  

The requirements are very difficult and not many have meet the qualifications to earn this designation. More information can be found here CBRM

Peter is also a certified instructor for the ABRA - Certified Bio Recovery Technician program and serves as International Member-at-Large on the Board of Directors.   As ABRA expands into international chapters, it is important that third party credentialing be recognized for Bio Recovery by Municipalities, Insurance Carriers, Government Agencies, Institutions, manufacturers, First Responders and other first on-site agencies across the globe. 

What is Bio Recovery?

Bio Recovery is the act of mitigating and remediating conditions resulting from the release of biological hazards. This may include crime and trauma mitigation (bloodborne and body fluids)outbreak responsezoonotic diseasesfoodborne diseases, public health threats and clandestine drug labs.   

The Association is currently going on its 22nd year and its membership has been on the front lines of the cleanup of 911 Anthrax Attacks, Methamphetamine Labs, The Ebola Outbreak, Mass Casualty Events and the current Fentanyl Crisis.
