CALL FOR PRESENTERS
We are seeking experienced speakers for our Conference Breakout Sessions (for 60 & 45 minutes). We are looking for speakers who will bring technical insight, share real world experience and case studies, and promote engaging conversation about handling hazards associated with human blood and body fluid cleanup, biological contamination, disease outbreak disinfection, infection control, illegal drug residue decontamination and other challenges facing the BioRecovery industry. Benefits of Speaking: You will have the opportunity to share your thought leadership and novel points of view that will influence the service efficacy of our industry. Relationships with these service leaders may enhance your network as well as that of our association members. ABRA membership is not a prerequisite for being a conference presenter
To propose a breakout session, please complete the accompanying electronic form. Proposals will be reviewed for purposes of meeting the educational objectives of the conference. Proposals will be reviewed and you will get feed-back from the conference committee soon after submitting the information. If it meets the criteria and subject matter, a signed speaker agreement will be sent to you, and it will need to be signed and returned no later than June 15th, 2020.
FOR ABRA MEMBER SPEAKERS: Please know that, consistent with ABRA’s mission as a voluntary professional association, all ABRA’s member presenters are volunteers. Just as importantly, you help build the knowledge-base that makes ABRA special—a benefit we believe you will likewise enjoy. ABRA offers up to a two-night stay in the conference hotel for member presenters.
FOR NON-ABRA MEMBER INDEPENDENT SPEAKERS: ABRA offers up to a two-night stay in the conference hotel for non-member presenters. ABRA will reimburse pre-approved, documented transportation expenses depending on distance and method of travel.
QUESTIONS: If you have a question about submitting a proposal to ABRA’s Annual conference, contact us.
The presentation Hall will be equipped with a screen, PA system and LCD projector. Presenters who wish to use the LCD projector must bring their own laptop. (Preferred method is a memory stick). Presenters who bring their own laptops will need to have an HDMI port.
